I’ve had the privilege of working with renowned agencies like WebDevStudios and 10up, as well as delivering enterprise level solutions for the NBA. My journey has equipped me with the skills and expertise needed to tackle complex back-end challenges.
Developing tailored plugins that extend the functionality of WordPress sites, meeting specific needs and enhancing user experience. Utilizing modular design and efficient coding standards to ensure plugins are scalable and maintainable.
Implementing headless WordPress architectures, decoupling the front-end and back-end to deliver faster, more flexible, and scalable solutions allowing integration with various front-end technologies.
Large-scale content migrations, leveraging automation and advanced scripting to transfer content, images, media and more from various platforms. My process ensures precision, efficiency ,and minimal downtime — if any!
I’m used to CI/CD pipelines, along with thorough testing to maintain code quality and stability. Using automated testing frameworks and continuous monitoring tools, I ensure rapid and reliable deployment cycles.
Customizing the Gutenberg editor using React and TypeScript to enhance the content creation experience. Developing custom blocks and extending functionalities, enabling users to build rich and dynamic layouts with ease.
Integrating third-party APIs, enabling WordPress sites to interact smoothly with other services and enhancing their capabilities. Implementing robust API solutions to ensure seamless communication and data exchange between systems.
Migration, CI/CD, Headless
The League site was the first main product I worked with at the NBA. Leaving 10up, this was a dream I simply couldn’t say no to.
Migration, Gutenberg, Headless, Multisite
The Team Sites project is my second, and current, team I’m working with. From migrations, API integrations, Gutenberg, Akamai, and many other technologies in use regularly, there’s just too many to list.
WordPress, React, Redux
I worked on the FiveThirtyEight liveblog project right up until I left for the NBA. I learned a lot about redux and polling and many other aspects during that time.
Migration, Multi-Language
During my tenure at WebDevStudios this was possibly one of the most wholesome projects I was able to work on.
WordPress, Custom Filtering
Working with MSFT was one of the highlights of my career at the time. Seeing how the corporate world worked was amazing.
WooCommerce, Curbside Pickup
Utilizing WooCommerce and custom code we built the CurbSide pickup functionality from scratch. Complete with scheduling and more.
The projects listed are among the highlights of my professional journey. Initially, I freelanced for two years before moving into the agency sector, where I spent nearly four years at WebDevStudios and almost three years at 10up. In 2020, I was approached by the NBA to join their team, and as of 2024, I have been there for nearly four years.
